Oklahoma Homeowners Pay the Highest Rates in the Nation

Homeowners in Oklahoma pay over 90% higher than the national average, and the highest rates in the US.  The second highest are in Kansas.  On average, insurance companies have paid out $1.93 in claims for every dollar received for the past 4 years due across the midwest which has caused the spike in costs.  Rates have risen approximately 70% over the same time frame.
